Discover the Legacy of Hoadley's Wholesale

Our Story: 70 Years of Family Tradition

The Hoadley Farm has been a part of the Auburn community for over seven decades. In 1951, Robert L. Hoadley purchased the land for his wife Marion, establishing what became Lakeview Acres Turkey Farm. After Robert’s passing in 1953, Marion balanced her nursing career while raising six children and maintaining the land with the help of neighbors and clergy.

In 1977, their youngest son, Peter A. Hoadley, and his wife Paula transformed the property into Lakeview Nursery, a plant nursery and landscaping business. Together, they raised their family on the same land, fostering a love of horticulture and stewardship.

Their sons, Robert M. Hoadley and Peter J. Hoadley, continued the legacy by founding Hoadley’s Wholesale in 2004. Following Peter and Paula’s retirement in 2008, Lakeview Nursery became part of the Hoadley’s Wholesale operation — a seamless blend of tradition, growth, and innovation.
